Director – Tom McSweeney As a working director Tom has directed over 60 Stage Productions and choreographed another 15 Musicals, Revues and Operettas. Most recently he has directed the pilot for a US television series. As one of Australia’s foremost casting directors, Tom McSweeney has cast over 200 Feature Films, Mini-Series and Episodic Television Productions, across three continents. He was nominated for an Emmy Award for his outstanding work on The Starter Wife. Tom was instrumental in casting the film and television projects that launched the careers of celebrities such as Ben Affleck, Renee Zellweger and Denise Richards.
Writer/Producer – Shirley Pierce is one of the top grossing writers in Australia, having worked on films that have had a cumulative box office gross of over a quarter of a billion dollars. She has developed projects for MGM Studios, Sony Pictures and Disney where she worked on projects ranging from the holocaust drama Misha to the animated films Dinosaur, Home on the Range and Meet the Robinsons. John Henry won international film festivals and was a finalist in its category for an Academy Award nomination. Her adaptation of the opera Aida was the source material for Elton John’s successful Broadway production.
Producer – Irene Dobson recently wrapped the action/adventure film In Like Flynn and Don’t Tell that opened in theatres this year. She has produced 10 feature films and numerous TV productions over the past 25 years in Australia, Mexico, Thailand, India, the UK, US and Ireland. Her credits include Darkness Falls and Singularity, The Waiting City, In Her Skin, Moyuru Toki: The Excellent Company, Time Traveller, Turtle Beach, The Man Who Sued God and Fortress. She has worked with actors like Guy Pearce, Billy Connolly, Judy Davis, Josh Hartnett, Joel Edgerton, Miranda Otto and Sam Neill. She also produced 22 episodes of the TV series Acapulco H.E.A.T and the TV mini-series Kings In Grass Castles.
Executive Producer – Barry Pierce is a partner of an investment capital company in Australia. His entertainment career spans radio television, theater and films including terms with BBC, Scottish Television, ABC TV and producing with the Tasmanian Film Corporation. He has acted, produced, written and directed hundreds of hours of entertainment in all media including producing the feature film Save The Lady which was distributed internationally. As the Los Angeles representative of the Singapore company Legend Media Group, he developed feature projects and dealt with U.S. distributors.
